Symposium

On October 7 and 8, 2009, Stresa, on Lake Maggiore, near Milan, Italy, will be the venue for the most important stainless steel conference of the year - the 3rd International Stainless Steel Symposium, hosted by Focus Rostfrei and Stainless Steel Focus in cooperation with Centro Inox. The International Stainless Steel Symposium is aimed at stainless steel producers, traders, processors and users, purchasing and marketing specialists.

The event will provide participants with an up-to-date overview of the sector, as well as discussing innovations and trends on stainless steel markets worldwide. Developments in Europe, for example, in Italy, will be discussed, as will the current situation in the Near and Far East. Movements on international raw materials markets will also be covered. In addition, the International Stainless Steel Symposium is, above all, one thing - namely the international stage for stainless steel contacts from around the world.

At the 3rd International Stainless Steel Symposium, which will be held under the motto “Stainless Steel: One World - One Market”, only prominent experts in their field will be presenting papers. The publishing house has already invited highly regarded and extremely well qualified experts to speak at the event. They will be sharing and discussing their wide range of experience with symposium participants.

The Symposium begins on Wednesday with a luncheon, and ends early on Thursday afternoon. Five specialist papers will be presented on both days, and will then be discussed in detail. The first day of the 3rd International Stainless Steel Symposium will come to a close in the sophisticated, but informal, and stylish atmosphere of the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées on the bank of Lake Maggiore. The registration fee is Euro295 (Euro195 for members, including associate members, of Centro Inox).

With the 3rd International Stainless Steel Symposium, Stainless Steel Focus and Focus Rostfrei, together with their sister publications Focus Inoxydable (France), Focus Nerez (Czech Republic) and Focus Nierdzewne (Poland) once again clearly demonstrate - even at this early stage - that they are apable of achieving some quite spectacular results when it comes to organising successful sector events.

A not insignificant reason for the success of Focus Rostfrei and Stainless Steel Focus events is without doubt the pricing structure which has been adopted. The very reasonable registration fee for the 3rd International Stainless Steel Symposium is only possible above all because of the financial support provided by sponsors.
