      4th International
Stainless Steel Symposium

One of the most important national, as well as international, stainless steel events of the year will be taking place this September in Birmingham in the UK. The fourth in a series of highly successful events which have been held previously in Zurich, Switzerland, in Dubai, UAE, and in Stresa, Italy, the 4th International Stainless Steel Symposium has already attracted the attention of, and is being supported by, the major players in the UK and international stainless steel markets. It is being hosted by Stainless Steel Focus, Focus Rostfrei and the British Stainless Steel Association.

The 4th International Stainless Steel Symposium and accompanying exhibition will be held on September 28 and 29, 2011 at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham. Many of the major industry players have, even at this early stage, agreed to participate in, and sponsor this event which already looks set to be one of the most important meetings of the year. The main sponsors include Acerinox, Aperam, Outokumpu and Schmolz +  Bickenbach. Aalco, Rimex, and Valbruna are also sponsoring the event!

The conference - “New opportunities for stainless steel” - will focus on the prospects for stainless steel as the economic recovery gets underway, and will cover a wide range of topics from the general economic outlook and the prospects for the stainless steel and raw materials markets to applications such as renewable energy, nuclear, oil and gas, construction, water, and transport. It will therefore be of interest to the whole industry, whether producer or trader, processor, or enduser, and anyone involved in purchasing or marketing. Only recognised experts in their particular field will be presenting papers; further details will be published in the next issue of Stainless Steel Focus.

An integral component of the event will be the accompanying exhibition. More than ten companies have already booked stand space, and since space is limited, we would advise that you contact us urgently if you wish to promote your company at this event.

We will, of course, ensure that you are kept fully informed about the latest developments but if you are interested in participating, whether as a speaker, exhibitor or visitor, please contact us as soon as possible at info@stainless-steel-focus.com and we will be happy to provide any further information you require.
